Returns Policy

We want you to be confident when shopping with us online

If you receive any merchandise that you are unhappy with for any reason, simply return it to us within 30 days in the condition that you received it and we will happily exchange, credit or refund.

The fastest, easiest and most cost-effective way to exchange an item is for you to obtain a Return Authorisation (RA) from SAAS Automotive after which we will email you a return shipping label. Return labels work out cheaper than sending an item back through a Post Office and we can add the shipping cost of the exchange to the new order.

Any Goods returned without a RA will incur a delay and possible additional costs in processing. Please refer to the Returns Terms and Conditions below.


If your order was supplied under a free freight bonus offer, your money will be refunded minus the initial freight cost incurred by SAAS Automotive. This freight cost will be calculated fairly, using the Australia Post freight calculator. Before sending your items back, please contact us and we can advise of the freight amount to be deducted from the refund. The buyer is also responsible for organising (and paying for) the freight of the return.


All returns MUST be authorised by SAAS Automotive before the goods are returned. Please email one of our helpful team and they will assign you a RA (Return Authorisation) number which must be enclosed in return parcel. You will also receive a Return Shipping Label.

All items returned for refund or exchange must be returned in the original condition with tags attached (unless faulty – see special section following). 

Any packaged goods must be returned with the packaging in its original condition or your return may not be accepted (unless faulty). Please refer to the list below for additional tips aid to ensure prompt processing of any return:

  • Please use due diligence in checking parts for correct fitment before removing from their packaging. Items such as wheel spacers, boss kits, wheel and lock nuts will not be accepted once they have been removed from their packaging and/or attempted to have been fitted.

  • All electrical items will need to be tested prior to processing any return/exchange. Due to the nature of electronic items, we will have one of our Technical Team review and assess any item upon its return. Be sure to refer to the Installation Instructions and Fault Finders guides supplied with the goods – these guides are also available for download from our Resources page.

  • Any RA which is not in an acceptable condition will be sent back at the expense of the customer, please ensure all items are in new & resaleable condition to avoid your RA being rejected.


If you have a faulty item that you would like refunded, repaired or replaced, please contact our customer service team before sending the item back. If emailing regarding a fault, please attach pictures of the fault so the item can be assessed before a return is approved. In cases where a faulty item was received a pre-paid shipping label can be emailed to cover the return costs on the faulty item. Faulty items may be returned outside of the regular returns time frames providing the item is still under warranty. Please contact customer service or refer to our Terms and Conditions for applicable warranty periods.

We aim to have your refund processed within 24 hours (or next business day) of receiving, however, some faults must be approved by our Technical Team before a refund or replacement can be issued. In this case we will keep you informed on a regular basis via email updates. This process usually takes around 2 weeks and once completed you should receive your refund or replacement within 1-7 business days.


NB, future release pending any DG goods being listed online

SAAS Automotive cannot accept returns or exchanges of Dangerous Goods (DG) items as all necessary paperwork does not cover return freight.

If your order arrives damaged in transit, please take photos of the damage and email them to our customer service department before and after opening the packaging to ensure the correct procedure is followed when rectifying the situation.

Understand Your Legal Rights

As an Australian consumer, you have a legal right to return items purchased from a business and to receive a repair, replacement or refund if the items:

  • Are faulty or develop a fault within a reasonable period of time after purchase
  • Aren't fit for purpose (i.e. they don't do what the seller said they would do)
  • Don't match the seller's description or sample
  • Are of unacceptable quality; or
  • Fail to meet other mandatory consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.

Consumer guarantees don't apply if you:

  • Simply changed your mind, found the product cheaper elsewhere, or decided you don't like or need the product
  • Misused a product and have caused or contributed to the failure of the goods, for example, by damaging or misusing the goods.
